Salut Bertrand,

J'aime beaucoup le sentiment qui tu passe ici, l'imensite de la mer, la sensation d'etre petit devant tout ca. Excellent point de vue, qui saisi tres bien les vagues. Blles couleurs aussi.

l'ambiance de la photo colle bien avec la note et cette impression un peu contradictoire d'immensité et de prison.
la qualité de la photo est belle et même excellente sur les 3/4 supérieurs, en revanche le 1er plan me semble flou et c'est regrettable; j'aurais cadré un peu plus étroit?

Hi Betrand,
beautiful spot for a prison. I guess ikt's not that romantic on he island and sharkes or guns will prohibite the escape. Mythical and intruiging such a place.

Tu as capté une belle ambiance paradisiaque. La composition est des plus simple. Peut-être un peu trop à mon goût. Il manque tout de même un élément pour attraper le regard. Seul ce nuage apporte un point d'accroche. Un gros caillou au premier plan n'aurait pas été de trop ici.

it's a pleasant wide and empty view of the ocean. The combination clarity/natural colors makes this look real and I feel I can touch the water. That's what I feel seing it. Great job!

Sea always show us beautiful views and this time also does.
Also I like the title... you look like a prisoner when you only have water around you... that's true. But I want to think that's not the main problem for people who live there.

Hi Bertrand, this is a very simple but effective composition of the sea and sky and that one very small island. Taking this in shallow water as you have, you have some nice texture from the small waves, and some excellent colour transitions from the yellow to turquoise to blue. The sky is beautiful. You were fortunate here in getting a nice blue sky, but that cloud is awesome and presents a very nice contrast. The island is almost incidental, but adds to the shot, as we all look to land when we are at sea, or looking at a seascape. Very nice handling of the light throughout.
