Photographer’s Note
I sat down on the sidewalk here for an hour and did nothing except to take a photo. I don`t know why, but it was a nice atmosphere there..relaxed..shade from the heat..and interesting to look at daily life on the street, look at the details around. Reflections. Who is the man with the newspaper ? Good or bad news in the paper ? The disabled man to the left of the photo, any sold books today ? It's time for me to find a place with cold beer? Where is the owner of the fruits..inside the house, or is it the man with the newspaper ? Wow ! It`s cool to be on vacation !

Hej Boa,
A very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, well conveyed also through your note. I don't remember all details from my own visit to Zanzibar many years ago, but having just returned from India I'm almost shocked to see how clean it is. Don't people even chow betel on Zanzibar?
Hälsningar,

Hi Boa,
life seems to have another rythm over there than here in Western Europe. You took the daily life of this street very good and the whole atmosphere of this photo is relaxing.
Well done,
Edi

Hejsan Boa,
yes, this IS an interesting scene, even though there's nothing special happening! Quite an ordinary scene for "them" and a little exotic for "us". Very good composition!
I very much liked your thoughts about this scene, in the Note to the photo. Interesting! Thus, the Note becomes an integral part of the photo.
bästa hälsningar från Moscow :)

Hello Boa,
We find very a few good news in the newspaper, but we reads everyday the last untruth.
Splendid daily life picture in a narrow street.
This is typical Oriental, quiet and always more than time.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice weekend,
John.

The street is like a Mediterranean street, I was surprised.
There is a very good and lazy mood here, I like that, you can hear the quietness :-)
A good one!

Hello Boa,
It is so interesting to see the details of places that I have never visited!
Life looks very unhurried in this small street.
I like the social aspect! Is the man in the red shirt trying to share the newspaper?
Really interesting and sharply recorded details of the shops. Also good details of what appears to be a nightmarish conglomeration of elecrticity wires. I wonder if Health and Safety rules exist!
Best wishes,
Bev :-)

Hello Boa
A good daily life scene showing the relaxed way of life in Zanzibar. No stress, no worries - and very tidy. There is much to be learnt from this scene. Tfs, Marlene

Hello Boa,
Thanks for a realistic view of daily life in Tanzania. I see you have travelled a lot and have a variety of photographs. This one stood out because I am too curious about these people you have captured.
Thanks for sharing,
Tosca
