est-ce vraiment le Paradis? pour les vacanciers le point de vu est certainement différent que celui des marins qui partent pêcher sur ces bateaux par tous les temps et pour lesquels la mer n'est pas un jeux mais un gagne pain...
en attendant certes la couleur de la mer et la bonne ambiance à bord évoquent un lieu idyllique...

Amazing shot, i wonder how the boat survived with the crowd of people riding. I like the contrast of the big white cloth against the brooding sky, you framed it well too.

The ship carries a funny load, otherwise this is a perfect picture. I like the different kinds of blue/green and the positioning of the triangle of the sail. The best of your Zanzibar shots so far, in my humble opinion. Cheers.

Hi Toba,
echt cooles Bild, dein vielleicht bestes aus Sansibar, tolle Farben und super Kompo. Sieht aber ziemlich beladen aus das Boot, wie lange das die Last noch trägt? Also echt schön, noch besserals die letzten Beiden meiner Meinung nach.

Hier hattest Du wohl den Fokus uf dem Mast und nicht der Besatzung.
Macht nichts,tolles Foto,perfekt für TE.Wunderschöne Blautöne,besonders das Wasser.Ich bin immer wieder fasziniert von der Einfachheit ind Effizeins solchr Boote die wohl seit hunderten von Jahren unverändert gebaut werden.

It looks a bit full on this boat, with this close framing we see well the details and the sea color lightened against dark stormy sky works best, you could consider leaving more space ahead of the boat.

This is a fine shot of this interesting sailboat. It doesn't look like this boat could carry this many people. Your composition is great showing the boat from an angle that gives the shot depth. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail.

The triangular sail is a real eye-catcher, as it stands out well on the dramatic sky!
Sharp fine details, and the composition uses a fine division of the frame...
I notice the overcrowded boat, hopefully they are not going far as the weather may soon change!

das ist ja eine herrliche Bilderserie aus Tanzania, das muss ein Traumurlaub gewesen sein! Ein interessantes Objekt, das urtümliche Boot mit den vielen Leuten, sehr schön auch die Farbtöne des Wassers und des Himmels ... sehr gelungenes Bild!

hey there, Tobias!

i see, you've been busy here while I was away. a nice collection of new shots and impressions. i love this one. i have to confess: have not seen anything like that before. while i agree with christine that the notion of 'paradise' is a debatable one (knowing the current-day local life situation in Tanzania and Africa in general), but the shot is sure very nice. the sail stands out very well against the stormy sky and the water color is fantastic!

Excellent choice for your title. I can believe you that paradise should look like this.
It is probably fun to be on this kathamaran, with a lot of wind and going very fast in such a beautiful place.

Looks like paradise, but that boat sure looks cramped. The moody clouds coming in look superb against the turquoise sea. You captured the light perfectly and at the right time. Colours, and composition look perfect, like this shot.
