Wow, what a photo. I don't even eat meat, yet this photo loks delicious. Great color, texture, light and contrast. POV makes this special, but I'd like to see an alternate version with the peoples' faces to really decide. Maybe less star effect with the lights.

I wonder what was shutter speed and if you used a tripod...

There is such an atmosphere to this picture! You can almost smell and taste the food and the spices of Zanzibar - and the light is what created that!

Excellent composition. I like the line of sight created by the lined up lanterns. I really like the texture of the barbecue. One can get and idea of what they eat on Zanzibar. It really does look tempting. Good photo.
