Photographer’s Note

A portrait of a girl in Stone Town, Zanzibar.
I would spend an afternoon on some days jsut wandering around the town and alleys looking for potential subjects. This girl was gentle and friendly, and was happy to have her picture taken.

Lovelly portrait of thi beautiful girl. The soft texture and colors add a old feeling. It reminds me of old painted pastel portraits people from the countryside in Brasil had done of all the family. Lovelly!

it is so nice to have the chance to wander around towns and street...just looking for subjects to shot.
and you get pleasant discoverings such as this little girl.
she's cute and tender...she had a good time to be shot...just like you!

Beautiful composition, its almost like a painting, the little girl's posture is so relaxed and the subtle smile on her face. You have positioned her very well in the frame.

This is a wonderful childhood portrait with the little girl sitting in a lovely pose. She looks so gentle; you caught an almost wistful look on her face. The quality is excellent with a gentle light coming from teh left. Good work indeed.

Your title sounds very 'movie' like and the girl must be ready to face the lens with her smart dress, which is rare for a place like Zanibar?

I have written a critique to your last photo this morning,but it has been removed because I said that I will come back later,and know,I can't write it again,I think that they don't allow!It's why I come on another picture!I have chosen this one because ilike very much this little girl sit down in a corner,I like the way she is looking at you with a shy smile!I love the colour that the light gives to her skin,and i find a great harmony between the dress and the wall!Superb,I lke very much!And sorry for your last picture!
