Hi Wanda.
A very nicely toned and sharply detailed picture - you could almost call it daily life even though there are no people present, because the various elements tell us something about the way the inhabitants of this house live. I like the closely cropped scene, focusing in on the essentials of the details of the porch of this small house. A modest bicycle somehow always conjures up the idea of comings and goings, probably on rough roads. Here, it makes me think there's someone inside the house. A pleasing treatment of the subject.

Hello Wanda,

It was a long time you have not posted a shot with a bicycle. You shoudl create a dedicated theme for this.
I like the B&W there, I feel it is exploiting the texture of the walls and the contrast fits well with the dark bike.

this is a wonderfully informal, everyday scene framed, in a lovely way to give the simple elements on view their own place and importance. the black and white format is excellent and helps bring out the textures of the objects and the stonework on the walls. very effective.
