| This photo was taken on a dhow trip to a small, tidal sand island not far off a point on the Tanzanian coast. We had to wade from the boat and i took this picture as the first passenger reached the top of the island with a storm brewing in the distance. (I brightened this a bit but otherwise it's unedited). |

I like it Sean. It's a striking image, with the solitary line of footprints leading awayinto the desert, the black silhouette and the storm brewing threateningly close by. An impressive composition. Regards,
Ryno
Excellent shot Sean. Beautiful composition with the frame perfectly divided into sky, sand and sea. The passenger is also nicely placed off centre. Regards, Roberto
Spectacular composition, very symbolic - I like it very much.
I'm not sure you've made the best of it in your processing, though - I find the colours a little strange. Perhaps I'll try a WS a little later on...

I spent some time on a workshop, but now I see you have disabled that. If you'd like to see it, switch it on.

Hi Sean.
A very nice composition. There is something spectaculr of an image where footprints just "suddenly" appear:)
As was pointed out the image does have a limited color range but I'm not sure if that's bad here. I might suggest just giving it a 10-20% desaturation, leaving some color in the shot.
