| This is the dining room at the Masia Marangu School which lies on the slopes of Kilimanjaro near the Marangu gate, a popular spot to start climing the mountain. The school cooks a midday meal for all the children. There is a small tap under the tree where the kids wash thier hands after the meal. |

Hi John
This photo tells an interesting story and I find it hard to believe that no-one has commented on it although 552 have viewed. I think it it well composed with the profile of the boy washing his hands, the tree and the murals. I climbed Kilimanjaro just 2 weeks prior to this photo being taken. We descended by the Marangu route but I can't remember this school near the gate. TFS, Marlene
