Maasai Steppe, a young boy looking after his herd.
I am in Malawi now, in Blantyre, it has been raining for several days in a row, the weather worse then in Cardiff, I have taken 2 photos in this city so far.. Africa is not a place for street photography for me, sth doesn't work here for me.

Hello Maciej. A picture as for an exhibition. Everything is correct. One can only say: the photo is outstanding. Evenly a Maciej photo.
Wolfgang.

Hi Maciej,

Amazing shot. Colours are great here with the red Maasai boy contrasting with the green land. Nice movement captured and excellent composition. I like the view angle as well.
Nice job!
Quentin.

Hi Maciej

Cheers

Nice photo but for me a little under exposed and a bit contrasty, however having been in Kenya I had all these problems and my photos are the same. Must be something to do with the strong sunlight.

Simon

Looks like I am the odd one out here sorry

Africa is not a place for street photography for me, sth doesn't work here for me.

LOL, you're so funny sometimes, Maciek... take a look at Nygus photographs from time to time. Africa is not about street photography in the sense you'd rationalize it in the "western, north hemisphere world". And yet...I think you already got it, because this photograph is an extraordinary example of the very good photographs that are still to be taken in Africa. Ok, the ground is neat like a golf course, but the scene is interesting and well mastered composition wise.

If this is one of the two photos you'll bring from Malawi, I'd say: great! Don't need to get any closer here... you know, Africa is about tiny beings in huge spaces...

Siema,
paliles tam cos w tej Tanzanii? ;)
fakt, ze krowy fajnie poukladane i ukladaja sie w calosc z chlopcem, ale jakos taka sobie, wyglada jak z kliszy za 2zl, w dodatku troche wypalone. a i troche za daleko chlopca, wydaje sie niski.

Hello Maciej
a nice catch even if this country doen't inspire you much. I like the way the elements are placed here.
Luan

i like the feel of the wide open space here maciek, although the green grass is suprisingly neat!
the pose of the boy is interesting too.
rowan

what a heck are you complaining about Maciej lol, the last two photos you have uploaded are very good, ofcourse the subjects are completely different, but both convey the message and both are beautifull photographs.
Africa is a continent of starvation, aids, wars, violance, racism, but also full of beauty, richness and happiness, and that's what you are showing here.
Lovely photo.
Peter

Thanks for mentioning about kiliminjaro a land known for fresh honey and gemstones. keep up your good work..

Clean, clean shot, Maciej...limpid. I like the bright RED of the boy against the green. Lovely picture, nicely paced.
Take care,
Francis

Oooh, young masai boy playing cricket with a woodstick on a perfectly mowed field. English skies too.
Just a bit bright for me maybe.
Looks like you're not comfortable with africa, Maciek? have you reached Zanzibar yet? Normally Stonetown should be more your cup of tea.

Very good compo and exposure.
Alfred

Witaj Maciek! Fajny temat.Podoba mi siê uchwycony ruch i postac chlopca na tle tej trawy. Piêknie pokazana natura i praca tego Masaja.
Pozdrawiam: Roman

I really like the picture. Composition is really good but what I like here most are colors. Boy's red clothes correspond with orange coat of two animals, grey cloud matches with a colour of another animal, all this on a vivid, juicy green grass. A picture full of life.

Calkiem przyjemna pocztowka ale ja dalbym tu wiecej saturation. Domyslam sie, ze jestes jeszcze w podrozy i masz nieskalibrowany ekran na laptoku?

Hi Maciej,

the way the cows are "distributed" creates lots of depth on this photograph, i like it very much...a kind of an image which matches my impression about how this place could look like...although the colours are very pleasant i could imagine the grass being greener there...cheers, arturo

very nice interesting photo
