Photographer's Note
This is a shot of Mount Kilimanjaro taken from Amboseli national park in Kenya.
Kilimanjaro, formerly Kaiser-Wilhelm-Spitze, is an inactive volcano in north-eastern Tanzania. Kilimanjaro is the tallest free-standing mountain rise in the world, rising 4600 metres (15,000 ft) from its base, and includes the highest peak in Africa at 5,895 metres (19,340 ft).
All the game drives we went on were either first thing in the morning or last thing in the afternoon which meant light was always low. I only had a point and shoot camera at the time (with no control), and when I got home I found that all my photos were slightly underexposed.
I've adjusted levels, highlights and shadows, sharpened and de-noised in photoshop.

Hi, this is a beautiful scene with the blue tones of the volcano, the soft earthy tones of the foreground and the giraffes which have a beauty of their own. This is a place I would love to visit, regards, Jean
