Photographer’s Note
Apparently the Catholic church in Bagamoyo was once the 'mother church' of Catholicism in the whole of East Africa. The cross in the picture is over 100years old and the photo was taken at about 5am in the morning.

no, this cross isn't 100 years old, this is a new cross that replaces the previous one. The original cross was made of wood or steel (I don't remember now, but maybe thу present cross is the third one and there were two crosses before it).
