Photographer’s Note

It´s more than a year since I climbed Kilimanjaro. The highest standing point in Africa, 5895 meters above the sea level. It was a challenge I was able to accomplish, life is made of challenges is it not? Let´s face it.
This photo was taken at Barafu camp. The last one before the final climbing to the summit. Here we were at 4600 meters of altitude. What you can see in the background is Mawenzi mountain, almost as high as Kilimanjaro but much more difficult to reach the peak because of the sand of the soil. To risky... Well, it was a nice moment.

For the challenges of life!
