Photographer’s Note
Dala dala is a name for the van which is used as public transport car. Usually is this type of a car using for 7-8 people (Europe, US...) but in Africa is normally to take up to 27 people. Dala dala is cheap for the tourist of course. We paid about 10 us cents for 1 km I think.
The shot was taken from the bus to Machame gate on out Kili trek in February 2009.
