Photographer’s Note
Wearing the scars of battle this lion looks as though he has seen better days, with a missing tooth and scratches on his nose.
As well as the name of the cartoon character, Simba is the Swahili word for lion.

Hello Stephen.
A nice portrait of the forest's king.
Very well scanned from a chemical pic.
Well done.
Best regards.
Bobo.

Hi Steve,
Its almost hard to believe that this is a scan image, the quality is really first classed. It looks as though you are squatting metres away in front of Simba's mouth to get this POV, you must lucky not to become his meal.
Did you take this in a zoo or African safari?
Regards
Alfred

Hi Steve
This is a nice shot, I like the comosition, the way the 'film' colors have been preserved. A good shot on all accounts.
thanks for sharing
