".. The only living things which look as if they really belonged to it are the Wild Animals. Between the animals and Africa there is an understanding that the human beings have not yet earned .."
Laurens van der Post, Venture to the Interior, 1963
I tried to use a more artistic approach in post editing.

A rare and impressive shot. Perhaps too "greyish", but however nice contrasts.

The simplicity and symmetry caught my eye. There is no extra element to distract us from this nice clean composition. This is composed with an artful eye, and I am surprised to see nobody has commented on this atmospheric work. The sepia tone works well, it enhances the streamlined effect, and also the scene of the Serengeti.

Your post editing has created an artistic presentation of an imaginative shot. There is a soft tone to the composition, while te subject is sharp.

I like this very simple picture very much, where the girafe seems higher than everything.I love the grey tones, the framing, and the softness of the picture. This is really superb, your artistic approach is excellent.

What a great image! You have built up that composition perfectly to focus on two main subjects here. Well done. TFS.
