Taken at a watering hole as you enter the Serengeti, I waited for hours for this set up. The zebra were a part of the annual wildebeest migration. Only the brave would venture into the water this deep to drink but would scatter at the slightest disturbance of the water fearing crocodile.

Your patience was rewarded!
What a great shot!
I love the repeating patterns of the zebra heads on a perfect diagonal across the frame.
This is a shot in a million!

That's a fantastic shot!
The focus is right in the center. It creates an almost hypnotic picture.
You were rewarded for your patience!

yet another good shot, it must have been a trip of a life time. so many stripes its hard to work out where one zebra starts and the next finish. you can also see the tension in the zebras faces. chris

It's wonderful that you managed to get so many of them all drinking at the same time. Good diagonal composition with half water and half black and white stripes.

First welcome to TE
a nice line of zebras Dana, not seen that often !
I have a few shots of Maasai Mara and Serengeti in my own gallery, with a public theme entitled "safaris". Please welcome to add your shots on this topic in it if you feel like to

For your first shot in TE (Welcome!), you were rewarded for your pattience with the huge flock of zebras. It seems that there are thousands by the way you took them. I woukd have crop the top in order to remove the trees branches and the water till the first head, and so enhancing more this stunning picture
Kind regards from
