Photographer’s Note
This is a bit of the Sahara desert. Old dark mountains emerge from the sea of sand. The valleys eroded
in the rocks are visible. This area is situated inside the bend of the Nile river north of Al-Khartum.
I took this photo during the flight from Mauritius to Paris. Later I found this place on the satellite map.
