Photographer's Note
Dune 54
...about one days drive south of Wadi Halfa ...than look up.
Taken a few minutes after my last upload, Sahara, I think this shot really shows the difference in light just a few minutes makes in the Sahara.
The first day of nine that it took to drive from Wadi Halfa to Khartoum. Fantastic trip. An adventure soon to be gone with the tarmac they are quickly paving up...go while you can!!!

Very nice composition and good idea to include the person so one can determine the size of the hill. I like your pov and it has a good dof with sharp details. Very nice colors and textures. Well done, tfs.

Hello John,
amazing shot, beautiful composition on the Sahara with one only person walking to the hill. Lovely colors of the sand and sky, perfect light, a very good exposure.
Super picture. Perfectly well done,
All the best,

Hi John,
This image presents a mellow color and a three-dimensional impression like a film. Beautiful perspective and superb tonality.
I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
