Photographer’s Note
While I was visiting the market of Tangassi I saw a barber corner but not for men but for donkeys!
I posted a WS on this image wondering if a tight crop it might be better trying to isolate the overexposing areas of the image and focusing on the subjects...

Bonjour Luca,
Très très belle photo qui illustre bien la complicité qui se développe entre l'homme et l'animal.Le geste de cet homme est très expressif.

I had to open the thumbnail open, the title intrigued me and sure enough ----a donkeys barber.
I think the original is better than the WS just for the compsition, but yes, it is so difficult to work with light this harsh and subjects this black and white.

Hi Luca,
A very surprising scene. I think the strong contrasts work here, and prefer the original over WS. That shade they have works as framing. And of course they don't want to stay on sunshine.
