Photographer's Note
Dune 54
...about one days drive south of Wadi Halfa ...than look up.
One dune, but an infinite number of different photographic opportunities with the changing light.
A few more from Sudan.

Hello John,
Even more impressive in bl/w than in colour.
Superb contrast to bring out the footprints.
At the top of the frame I'd have cropped off the darker (lower) areas to create a flatter canvas. Not very realistic when it comes to dune walking, I know, but I kind of like the effect it'd create, the more rigid composition.
Thanks for sharing & keep walking.

My compliments, John,
Impressive work. the footsteps in the sudan desert remind a horrible stories without water and meal.
Good b&w photo.

Hi John,
cool treatment and a lovely mood you've created here. Funny but I think, contrary to Benny, I would crop off the top to focus on the footsteps...but hey..matter of choice. I like it that way as well.
