Photographer’s Note
At the clay pits on the banks of the Nile bricks are made with a mix of cly, dung and water. The mixture is hand pressed into a mould and the bricks are then layed on the earth to dry in the sun before being baked in the kilns. This chap job is very simple - clear away the dust and lay the bricks.

One more great shot in your series. It´s amazing that there are only two colors in the image – naturally. Green color catches the eye nicely. Very beautiful and effective shot – WOW.

Another excellent daily life shot. I like all the natural colours, with the green the centre of attraction. The "frozen" dust is also nice.

Olli is right here. It is amazing that the bundle of twiggs this guy is using is the only colour that is catching the eye in comparison with all the others. To be honest, I would not like to do this job. I can see in the background that they are preparing to make the oven (see the twiggs below). Stacking the bricks in the burning oven is a very dangerous job (some old men who had done this when they were young told me this). Nevertheless, it is a very good picture!
