Photographer’s Note
It doesn't matter where you look, kids always have charisma. These were two boys who were busy playing soccer with a flat plastic football when I came along. Ofcourse they wanted their photo taken - then they came right up to the camera and I caught this image.
They have no shoes; their clothes are filthy. They live in shelters made of nothing more substantial than muds bricks, cane and plastic sheeting. They probably don't have much of an education either. But they still have attitude - they are still taking something from life.
Caught on the hop as I was it's a pity the boy on the RHS has a shadow across his face, but the expression and fist are so natural I can't really complain.

Nice faces you got in this shot. They seem very friendly indeed! I love the blue of the sky in contrast with their dark skin. It lights up the pic.

You got the emotion, your image carries the message and the strength of that outweighs the shadow on the right child's face. In fact, the shadow could almost been interpreted as the hardships and realities these children face- yet they're still radiantly happy. Good shot.

Interesting picture, may be with a bad illumination. A good part of the children's faces are in the dark ..
