Photographer's Note
Taken in the National Museum in Khartoum.
Sammya, an artist, is presenting her copy of St Anne of Faras. The original 'fresco' is in the National Museum in Warsaw, Poland. Initially I was supposed to photograph just the painting. But then I realized Sammya was equally the subject of the photo. I like this photo v. much.
