Photographer’s Note
Taken in the early morning near where I lived for a few weeks. Koba is an industrial area on the northern side of Khartoum. You can see how pylons run right through the neighbourhood.

This is really very well framed and exposed, Tim. Love the warm light and the strong graphism. Through this warm morning light together with all the horizon-orientated lines this pic has an upbeat feeling.

This is an artful viwe of the industrial vein running through Khartoum. The repeating patterns are wonderfully silhouetted and constrast with the gorgeous morning sky. Well done.
