Belvère de Nwanetsi
Deux fois la superficie de la Corse, le Parc National Kruger est un véritable joyau animalier. Mais c’est également un paysage changeant avec ses savanes, ses forêts de buisson, ses collines et ses rivières. Nous sommes ici sur un belvédère culminant la rivière Sweni. Les montagnes du Lebombo, que nous apercevons, forment la frontière avec le Mozambique.
J’ai aimé le contraste entre les rhyolites (roches identiques à celles de l’Estérel en France) et le ciel. L’endroit a été tenu secret, mais il paraît que c’est ici qu’a résidé M. Sarkozy après son voyage officiel en RSA. Rassurez-vous, il n’a pas fait du camping sauvage : juste à proximité, se trouve le lodge de grand luxe Singita. Vu les tarifs, j’espère qu’il a payé ses vacances avec ses deniers personnels…
Mes amis, je m’absente temporairement pour participer au meeting TE de Nîmes.

Nwanetsi Viewpoint
Twice the surface of Corsica, the Kruger National Park is a true game jewel. But it’s also a changing landscape with its savannas, its bushes, its hills and its rivers. We are here on a viewpoint culminating the Sweni River. The Lebombo Mountains, which we can see, form the border with Mozambique. I liked contrast between the rhyolites and the sky. The place was secret, but it appears that it’s here that Mr. Sarkozy resided after his official voyage in RSA. Be cool, he did not sleep in a wild camp-site: very near, there is the top level Singita luxury lodge. Considering the prices, I hope that he paid his holidays with his personal money...
My friends, I goes away temporarily to take part to the Nimes TE meeting.

Magnifique photo aux couleurs splendides. La composition est très belle avec ces petits moutons dans le ciel et ces petits "buissons" qui sont leur équivalent sur le sol.
Amicalement....et bon meeting...l'Afrique du Sud, Nîmes...on ne se refuse rien!

Un paysage monotone par son relief mais très coloré par sa végétation.
J'aime bien l'effet du grand angle sur les nuages. Cela donne un effet de profondeur et d'infini dans ce ciel.

un paysage de steppe mais verdoyant c'est ca l'afrique du sud? un ciel nuageux qui donne du contraste et du relief,bon POV en légéere hauteur pour voir loin a l'horizon

Actually a simple landscape phot - but a very beautiful one! the contrast between the landscape and the sky is breathtaking here. I like this unspoilt region very much!

The wideness with these clouds is just stunning. As far as the eye can see. That must be a great feeling, standing there!!
Wonderful. And a good note as well. A place surely on my list of places to visit.

a nice overview of this so typical Savannah that reminds of my own trip to Kruger Park many, many years ago. No I did not sleep in the Singita luxury lodge :-)
I love to see how the clouds repeat somewhat the pattern of the bushes, trees on the ground. It is almost a reflection without the element of water.
