Photographer’s Note
Nestling in a bay of turquoise sea, white sand and rocky coves lies Arniston – a little-known gem on the Cape south east coast.
Here you'll discover an authentic fishing village – also known as Kassiesbaai – dating back to the early 19th Century, and now a national monument.
In Arniston you can spot the southern right whale migrating to and from the Antarctic (september-november).
The typical white-washed cottages overlook a deep blue sea.
