Photographer’s Note
This is one of the most popular beaches in Cape Town, and Camps Bay Beach is the hip place to see and to be seen. Located a short drive away from the CBD, heading in a southerly direction towards Hout Bay, the area is an up-market locality. The mountain side to the left of the beach has some of the most magnificent homes in Cape Town, and more and more foreigners are purchasing here, which they have found to be an idealic getaway from the northern hemisphere's cold winters.
The mountain range in the background is part of the "12 Apostles", so called because it includes 12 different peaks, which stretch behind Table Mountain. If in Cape Town, make a booking at one of the trendy restaurants which overlook this famous beach...you never know you may even see one or two well know actors sharing the experince with you.

Hi Grant,
You present a good balance between mountains, houses and sea.

Grant, that is a wonderful place! I'm in awe and understand quite well why this place is hip. Your POV seems to be the best imaginable to get this landscape. I envy every single person that has a house there. The only problem might be the frigid water ;-)
