Photographer’s Note
Another shot taken at the Kruger National Park. We were really fortunate. These three giraffe were part of a herd of about 12 all in one place - very rare as far as my experience is concerned. This was taken really early in the morning, light was not too good, and I'm starting to feel really frustrated with the small camera... Anyway, I liked the way they were looking in opposite directions. Kind of reminded me of people watching each others backs...
Tech: Cropped a little, sharpened, unsharp mask, adjusted levels and contrast - little saturation increase. Hope you like it.

I'm not sure about giraffes, but I know antelope and zebra herds designate one animal too be on constant look out for predators. Giraffes make for great wildlife subjects and i like how you have been able to get quite close here, even with a small camera. Unfortunately the white clouds in the background have caused your camera to underexpose the giraffes. Still a rare capture and well worth the shot. I did a WS let me know what you think

Giraffes are fascinating animals, and you got a fine shot of them here in the wild. They are making an interesting posing, looking into opposite directions above the trees/bushes. A lovely moment of nature, Judy.

Wonderful shot of those giraffes. This animals are so interesting with their poses. I like the way two of them look to one side, and the other to another. The one at the left looks huge. Well done, Judy.
