Photographer’s Note
So what is in a rock, you may say. These granite rocks/boulders are about 50m high, and are in memory of Stevenson Hamilton. He played a fundamental role in the success of the now famous Kruger National Park. For some really good history and background to the Kruger National Park in South Africa, here is a website to visit: http://flyinglions.safari.co.za/kruger-national-park-history.html:

So what exactly is in this rock, Judy? ;-)
Just kidding. Yes it may look simple at first glance, but what you did here is make a fine capture of the beautiful surface texture and colors of those rocks. Also, their shape and the curving crack between the two main blocks makes for a fine geometrical element in this shot. I also like that you kept the sky - I scrolled it down on the screen a bit and found it looked less good to me if the sky had been cropped out. Good shot, thanks for sharing.

Looks almost like an abstract sculptured "big bum" ;) Well seen and captured, and the low aspect angle looking up adds to the grandure of the rock. Well done Judy.

Surely a different and special motif you given us here - I believe you have chosen the rigth and best angle - The texture of the rock great and crack interesting. The sky a bit overexposed but serves very well as contrast.
Nice work Judy - thanks for sharing.

the camera angle is quite selected ; these rocks suface makes think of a rough skin, the general form looks like a man lengthened on the side. Vraiment bien Judy
