Photographer’s Note

I love high school and I love socialising with my friends. This was one of those socialising days out at Camps Bay. This image was taken on my cellphone although I do have my own HO Photosmart camera. The reflection of the sun was quite strong and had i known any better i would have have taken the image from another angle. I decided to change it to black and white.

Taken at Camps Bay beach late afternoon where the sun is never ending. With the title AESTHETE meaning; One who cultivates great sensitivity to Beauty; as I have discovered.

Firstly, welcome to TE. You will meet many people from around the world.
Your idea to post an image taken from your cellphone is quite interesting. Why; because you have taken the time to think about posting an image that was in colour and yet the thought process was to change to b&w presumably because of the harsh sun effect coming through strong in colour. nice idea. i like the silhouette outline of the people against the dynamic strong sun in the background. There seems to be some noise in the background which i suppose in PS can be eliminated. However well done on your first attempt and again wellcome to TE.
