Weird Clouds Photo

Photographer’s Note

One day back in South Africa, my friend gave me a call and told me to go outside and look at the clouds. I had never seen clouds that shape or colour, they made for a really strange and exciting atmosphere that afternoon.

Hi Steven, whilst these types of cloud can occur in SA, I must say that the top foreground cloud appears to be somewhat over adjusted in constrast/colour. Otherwise nice composition. Welcome to TE.

Those clouds really are amazing, and they combine well with the sihouetted foreground (although I think there is a little too much black space on the right)to create a very atmospheric image.
Well done for taking the opportunity.

Very odd clouds indeed. They look alot like the smoke rolling along the ceiling of a building on fire. Nice atmosphere. The dark to the bottom right is a bit of a distraction, but nature doesn't always give you a chance to get the perfect shot.
