Photographer's Note

What you see in the back is Kogelberg and a road called Sir Lowrey's Pass, 60km east of Cape Town. A lot of tourists that visit Cape Town rent a car and go east on the N2 and than they need to go over that mountain. It's very steep and dangerous, the lanes are not seperated and there is no light at night. A lot of people got/ get killed there. South Africa has one of the highest traffic death rates on Earth!

We were interns working on the other side of that mountain. We got ourselfs a couple of Porsches and because of these incredible speeds going down and our Ayrton Senna corner work, we were demanding a lot from our German machines so we had some engine trouble once in a while. Our Japanese tyres were holding out great btw. (:
