This is a very typical summer night in South Africa. The temperatures are very warm, and the sun has been down for some time. You can see the evening star in the right upper corner. I caught the light a bit late, but with some contrast and colour touches, it looks a bit better than the original.
This is a view of the Ngodwana Valley in the Mpumalanga province, just 50km south of Nelspruit.

Very nice scenario Judy, but there is some noise in the sky – or is it clouds, I cannot see. Also I think you should try next time with a higher value of aperture – may be f 11 – an a longer shutter time.
Anyway I do like the picture.

The composition is good, but the noise in the photo does distract a little. Even more post-processing might do the trick here. Anyway, the colors are good and you did well to capture this. These shots are never easy.

Beautiful sunset picture. I like the way the trees to the left frames in the picture. Posted a workshop with reduced grain, hope you like it.

Too much noise, as mogens-j and henrye said. The WS that Eagle made has corrected it wonderfuly. I like how just a little part of the sky is bright and the deep blue colour as well. By the way, evening star = planet Venus.
