Another repost. Added the frame and fix the size.

Many people say that this is where the two oceans meet, which geographically is not entirely correct...that honour goes to Cape Agulhas. In reality, the two currents - Warm Agulhas and Cold Benguela - is ever-changing so that the currents meet somewhere between Mossel Bay and Cape Point. This can change on any day; the exact point is thus not exact!

Cape Point has the highest lighthouse in South Africa. Also, the original lighthouse had to be lowered because it was situated above the fog and ships would not be able to see the lighthouse! The Flying Dutchman - a ghost ship - also does its rounds here.

Thanks to my friend Jeremy at Virtualtourist for this info.

It is a old photo that i scanned. Had to crop it a bit on top. Other than that just resized it.

"I like the mistiness in the background.

hi annette, i appriciate that this is a scanned image, but i still think it lacks focus and detail. its a nice pov, but i am still straining to see more at the top of the image, the mist is nice though. thanks for sharing, i think this picture has memories for you and that is the sort of pictures you should have in your collection!
