Photographer’s Note
Eulophia Speciosa - a wild orchid that has literally sprung up from the ashes on a section of farm land just before the beach, basking in the full sun with no source of water, other than dew and occasional rain. It is so amazing to me that you get such beauty among the ashes.
Basic PP - hope you enjoy...

Hi Judy - what a nice surprise to see you back. A lovely light you captured here shining on the wild flower, that is well off-centered in your composition with the three horizontal layers. My only regret is that at 51 KB size there is a bit of a quality loss from the compression. Good to see you again, and happy New Year to you.

Beautiful scene of hope. Great colors, lines and comp., of course, and a good thought in these times, especially with the ocean backdrop. Nice to see you again. :o)

Hi Judy, just noticed you are back here as well as over on TL. And with a beautiful shot where my only complaint would be that I would have liked to see a bit more of the ground in front of the flower. As for the colours and the compo and the dof - couldn't be better. Did you know there is new site TrekNature, where this kind of shot is sure to rake in positive critiques. Check it out, but careful, the TOS are fairly strict.
