Photographer's Note
André and I were standing here watching the African sunset over this beautiful landcsape and the rocks were getting redder and redder. It is called the three rondavels because the three round stone shapes look like the round traditional African huts which are called rondavels.
You can see André's version here

Hi Wanda,
Memories, memories... How much I would pay to be there again, right now.
I remember the sacrifice you have made for us to stand there, as the road to return home was far and the drive very long. All the tourists were gone, when the light was actually at its best.
Like I've told you before, when someone sees the "behind the scene", the actual landmark or landscape, the photo isn't as impressive. But in this case, I think it reflects the light quality, the sense of wide space, the impression of silence and eternal loneliness at the same time.
You've made a good use of the tree to frame the rock formation and to keep the eyes in the scene, while using it as a nice foreground as well. The fact that there is light on the bushes is a bonus, because it adds dimension and depth.
I don't know why they call this place the Three Rondavels. I would have called them the "Three Rondavels and a half"...
Je te souhaite une excellente journée!
André

Hi Wanda,
Wonderful colours and a great composition with the leafless tree on the right giving a sense of depth. The wide format works well.

Hello Wanda
A good vantage point to make us discovering that wonderful landscape! Yes, a spectacular view(i wish I could visit that place) with these 'rondavels', the naked tree which balances well the image. Very nice colour tones and a good sense of depth too!

Dag dear Wanda
Super interesting view with find landscape forms, looking fine in the sunset light. The composition is well balanced with the tree on the left. Your high POV makes this worth a scene. Fine shot!

Hi Wanda,
You looked for an African sunset and sure that you found it.
What nice photo of so interesting landscape, the low light of the Sun illuminates these fantastic rocks with a few very warm tones, while it allows us to see its shapes in a good three-dimensional sensation.
The result is a grand photo. Congrats.
Best regards,
Josep
