Photographer’s Note
Hiha,
this photo is an homage to my own one from the Irish section --> Irish Roads are beautiful!
This was one my way to the Drakensberge. This was one of the most fascinating landscape in South Africa (that I have seen). It starts with fields and you can guess in the mountains at the horizont. And then suddenly you are surrounded of those absolutely breathtaking Drakensberge.
I think this route is much better than the Garden Route (but this is only my opinion)

Very pure picture with the dynamic given by the road and the clouds, the immensity of the sky, the stilness of the nature... Very well done.

Hi Kevin!
This shot wants me go to S.Africa.
Excellent POV and amazing depth.Composition is great too,but I would like it more with a red car,bus or truck driving into your direction. But we can`t allways get what we want, and may be you had to wait for two days.....
Anyway ,it`s a great shot and I love these clouds.
Regards,leo

My congratulations, Kevin, excellent work, superb colours, fine composition, good perspective. I never been in South Africa, but it is one of numerous countries, where I wish been.
Best regards,

With a sky like that I would not mind to drive for quite a while in South Africa. The road adds an immense sense of depth. Well done.
