well guys, this is Africa or better...this is South Africa: the rainbow nation..or just a world in a single nation!

Ok...it might look like Southern Sardinia...or just like a Mediterranean place...like Portugal...but the blue behind the hill is the Indian Ocean!

For a better understanding I just posted a couple of shots snapped on the road like this and this one

it was quite surprising for us...but our first sight was even more incredible!

here you have a wide POV on this marvellous place....and also an example of what you can do in this place if you have a camera!

sai dove ho trovato un posto simile? Nei dintorni di Page, sul lago Powell, al confine dello Utah con l'Arizona.
Che effetto incredibile!!!!

La foto è stupenda e rende perfettamente i luoghi descritti.

Effettivamente c'è qualcosa di simile in Sardegna. Magnifico il contrasto e direi ottima anche l'esposizione, che non rivela fastidiose sovraesposizioni anche se forse c'è una minima perdita di dettaglio - comunque inevitabile - nelle alte luci.

Beautiful and interesting photo. South Africa! It is difficult to imagine. Is it sand? it is a pity there is nothing to give the scale. Nice colours.

Didn't you go for wakacje?
I was in February in Tunisia and there were a lot of wild flowers and green fields. It looked like in Switzerland, not Africa.

Hi Silvio,
This place is certainly inspiring for photography.
You would be surprised to see how much it ressembles the west coast of Australia around Jurien Bay (big dunes of pure white sand)
