| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This lovely town, Die Kelders, is the best place to watch the right whales. Better than famous Hermanus. Die Kelders is located between Hemanus and Gansbaai, close the latter one.
From high cliffs one can watch the whales that travel along the coast only 20-30m from the shore. Sometimes even closer(see the workshop). Besides, there are numerous ways to get down, then the animals can be watched really close.
And those lucky people, who stay in the houses on the picture, can see the whales right from the balcony while having tea or beer.

Nice angle off the cliff, very dramatic fall for the houses on top. I wonder how this shot looks like with a full landscape frame.

Nice vertical format. I like the details & colors of the rock face. Well composed to include the houses & a bit of the sky on top. Regards. Latiff.
Hi Olga,
Totally with you...it must be the best viewing point. Love the vertical character in it.

Real nice vertical picture. Nice texture. I am jealous of the people living there. Interesting picture and information.
