This road's official name is the N2, but it's more commonly known as the Garden Route. It's an 800 km stretch along the South African south coast, linking the Eastern Cape city of Port Elizabeth with Cape Town. On a clear winter's day, there's no better road to drive.

"800km stretch" is amazing, the landscape is lovely and peaceful and the mountains in the distance attractive and imposing. I like very much the depth and the long perspective of your photo, you are offering us a natural and vivid impression of the place and of the journey. A very inviting view that evokes a pleasant sense of anticipation. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,

Very nice picture showing the well built road between the lush green fields. However there are very less tress spotted in this place. This is strange.
Thanks for sharing.

a strong perspective with a nice display of saturated green and charcoal black. The white and yellow lines add a graphic touch to this strong composition.
Have a nice day,

This is almost not to believe a highway without cars, in Belgium can you not drive without hours in the file!
You could simple take, a picture in centre of the way, what a perspective.
Sharpness and clarity are pleasant to look at
A nice composition, excellent presentation too.
Very well done, TFS.

Aww I wish I had made time for this on my upcoming trip. The garden route seems amazing, but it's such a huge and diverse country that I only have time to get a taste. You have a lot of wonderful photos in your gallery and I really can't wait to experience that landscape for myself. At least I'll see Cape Town and the peninsula there. Thanks for sharing!
