Photographer's Note
This photo was taken on Long Beach near Cape Town on the icy Atlantic Ocean side. The beach itself is pleasant - long, as the name suggests, and not very busy. I tried to capture some of the colors of sunset with a longer exposure but unfortunately the clouds and sun were not cooperating as best as I had hoped. I did some minor PP work - boosting contrast and some saturation.

I like the composition and colours, maybe you could have tried to make the exposition even longer, to make the sea really look like "smoke", it might have made and even more striking shot.
