This was taken on a sunset evening, strolling along the Hout Bay beach..time about 18.30 still full view of sun however the fog was moving in slowly eventually covering the entire beach front...from bright and sunny to an entirely different view from where i stood. I captured this image on auto focus full color and this was the end result. will post another view of the beach to workshop which shows the fog moving in.
Hout Bay is often called the Heart of the Cape, a 20 minute drive from the Cape Town city centre, almost halfway between Cape Town and Cape Point. Houtbaai was named by the Dutch explorers, which literally translated means Wood Bay. The timber was used to help build Cape Town. Hout Bay was then divided up into two farms. Over time the farms were divided up however today Hout Bay still enjoys a rural atmosphere with several equestrian estates and small holdings. Hout Bay has become very popular as a seaside resort town with its unique location at the start of the Atlantic Seaboard and yet still only thirty minutes drive from most of Cape Towns top attractions. Hout Bay is recognised as one of South Africa’s leading destinations for local tourists and has become a popular place for international tourists to base their South African holiday.

I like this POV, the early morning fog veiling the table mountain and the good shaped person against light.

A nice view at a man against the soft background with moutain. Low POV works very well and perfect exposure with interesting contrast on foreground.

I know Hout Bay beach very well and spent many of my early Sunday mornings walking my dogs and enjoying the fresh morning air. I really like the POV chosen with the man very well silhouetted against the setting sun. The mist above the bay's waters creates an interesting atmosphere for the location. Nicely done.

This is a really fantastic photo. An exceptional composition of this dark silhouet.
The mountain in the background counter-pressure for the man in the front.
Very nice exposed.

J'aime beaucoup cette image presque désaturée.
Le nuage de brume au loin qui nous empêche de distinguer clairement le paysage et la silhouette de l'homme qui contrate parfaitement en premier plan.
