Water is a valuable commodity as we all know... we have recently had an abundance of rain in the western cape and looked forward to Spring starting in September, nevermind the hayfever, allergies of sorts and everything else associated with Spring. Spring has finally arrived...This image was taken mid morning after a few showers. the orange warm feel of the soaked petals reminded me that summer is on the way and all that is damp and wet will start drying soon. And of the 4 seasons "Spring is one thing, and the first spring day is another. The difference between them is sometimes as great as a month". And my favourite spring poem "Give me the splendid silent sun with all his beams full-dazzling"...This one goes to all my colleagues enjoying the arrival of Spring...enjoy:)

I'm also looking forward to the change of seasons....autumn is approaching.By the end of summer I just can't wait to see a few drops of rain that will clear the dust away and freshen the air. This is a lovely capture. The colours are very complimentary.Take care and enjoy spring.
