Scenic drive Photo

Photographer’s Note

When driving from Cape Town in an easterly direction, one has an option of taking the faster route over the mountains, or the slower "scenic" route that winds along the coast. This day we decided to take our time.

You can see the mist rolling in over the mountains. The people on the other side were driving in mist and rain, while we had bright sunshine on this side. LOL!

Post processing: cropping, sharpening, added a frame. I purposefully didn't do any colour enhancement, to show how truly magificently blue our skies can be.

nice colours, very good contrast... Those coulds seem to be pads and it is difficult to imagine rain on the other side! Wonderful photo!

I find this very well made a success composition which respects the rules of a good technique. Colours are also saturated well. Bravo!

Wow! Beautiful! The way the clouds are rolling down the mountain sides and the empty beach... Looks a bit threatening. The colours are fantastic just as the landscape. I like your composition and the frame feels just right.

These are the perfect "table cloth" clouds. The color of the water is perfect (and it real!)

What an amazing picture, the clouds give this picture such an amazing effect, the coast line looks natural and empty of touristical building, nature on his best!
