Photographer's Note

This is in Franshoek - a wine growing region in the Western Cape. Literally translated it is "French Corner" as named by the Dutch because of the large number of French Huguenots who had settled there after fleeing religious persecution in Europe. It was originally home to the Khoikhoi and San people.
