Photographer’s Note

You're looking down on the Cape Town skyline from within a rented 2003 Corolla. I was parked just undeneath the station that brings you to the top of Table Mountain.

Cape Town is a big city with a population of about 2.5 million. The city centre itself is pretty small and compact. The highest building in Cape Town is the MetLife centre (150m).

Biggest attraction of Cape Town is Table Mountain. Also former prison island, Robben Island is very populair amongst tourists. Other points of interest: V&A Waterfront mall, Century City mall and Long street.

It's a funny picture this one Gilbert.
First i thought it was taken from a plane, but then i see the board and yes that look like a car ;)
Good composition, and good idea. The sharpness was very difficult to catch in that case.

Very interesting approach. This is an amazing view that is very difficult to capture in a photo. It is one of those things you need to see for yourself. But you did great.

Nice shot - I too thought it was taken from an aircraft on approach! Not an easy shot given the difficult conditions for the exposure (the dashboard lights could make things difficult) but you've done well here.

Hi again,
This is another picture of yours that hits with it's sheer originality. I enjoy watching cocpit shots at airliners.net, and this has obviously the same style.
This would be better if shot from the backseat giving more emphasis on the scene and less to dashboard.
