Photographer’s Note
On top of the Table Mountain, supper is served. The sun set and the silouette of the souvernir shop. Looking closely you can see the surveilance camera. Since the mountain it self is over 1000 meters high you often see the clouds from above. Photo taken with out tripod.
About the famous mountain from Wikipedia:
The highest point on Table Mountain is towards the eastern end of the plateau and is marked by Maclear's Beacon, a stone cairn built in 1865 by Sir Thomas Maclear for trigonometrical survey. It is 1,086 metres (3,563 ft) above sea level, about 19 metres (62 ft) higher than the cable station at the western end of the plateau.

Hej Stefan,
It's the colours, shapes and atmosphere that make this picture. I tried, just for fun, to make a ws to see what details could be found on the building and the ground. Well, there were some details but of very little importance, but the atmosphere was totally lost. Which means that making it dark like this was probably the only option for this picture.

Hello Stefan,
A nice sunset shot with beautiful colors and a nice silhouette!
The pyramid shaped building has a side reflection of light which is adorning the composition!
Great job. Regards.

Hej Stefan,
the colours are fantastic. Together with the silhouette of the shop (and the camera ;)) this produces an impression of a martian landscape! I like this juxtaposition of the dark silhouette at the bottom and the bright sun at the top - both in the opposite corners of the image.
Kind regards,
Elena

Hej Stefan,
A good composition, with the chimney at one third and the sun at the other third. A good balance and indeed very attractive colours!

Hello Stefan,
The sky is wonderful, the clouds with golden linings from the setting sun!
A well balanced composition, where the silhouette in nicely placed in the diagonal to the sun...
A closer look reveals some details in the house, nice!

Hej Stefan,
beautifully composed impression of the setting sun and this strange building! It almost looks like the tower of a Danish church. Wonderful moody light and colors. The side reflection is also very attractive. TFS!
Warm regards

A sunset with a nice silhouette detail, must be a great view from 1000m above sea level.
