Famous Table mountain over Cape Town.
This is the view to the other side, no over the town.
The walk on the top of the mountain is very nice. The only problem is that from this place, for example, one can't hear an alarm. The cable station ring alarm when the wind is picking up, so people can run to the cable car and get down. Otherwise, one will have to walk, and in the dark especially it will take not just one hour!:) |

Hi, Olga -
This is a great composition, and a very different view from the usual Table Mountain shot. But I felt that the upper right was way blown out, and also it was hard to see what was going on in the lower left.
I did a workshop which cropped out the blown out area, and tried to lighten up the lower left - which I saw was vegetation - without overdoing it. That is tricky and I don't think I really succeeded, but it may give you some ideas.

Hi Olga,
Excellent view from the table. We did see the footpaths leading to the top, but we took the Cable Car because lack of time in Cape Town.
Hope you had a great time over there.
