Another post from beautiful Cape Town. Looks like I'm trying to forget the winter we're experiencing here and all that snow that we have! ;-)

This was taken on Bloubergstrand in Cape Town after a long business meeting. Time to relax, time to enjoy the view, time to get out the camera.

Bet you know the feeling - think about pov and exposure and sharpness, try to capture the beauty that is in front of you - and you forget the stress of the day....

Table Mountain is Cape Town's landmark. It's the flat mountain in the middle. When fog comes up, it lays itself on Table Mountain as if it were a table cloth. To the left you see Devil's Peak and to the right, you have Lion's Head.

These mountains are also shown on Cape Town's flag

tolles goldenes Licht, satte Farben und zwei Leute, die dem Bild Leben geben, was will man mehr?
Ein wunderschönes Bild, das SChiff da hinten ist ein klasse Detail!

ein kleiner Schwenk noch nach rechts, dann wär das Thema "grosses Schiff, kleines Schiff" perfekt.
Das Licht, der Strand, der weite Raum sind wunderbar.

eine wunderschöne Atmosphäre hast Du da eingefangen! Nach so etwas sehnt man sich jetzt im Winter, da stimme ich Dir uneingeschränkt zu. Die Leute am Strand frischen die ruhige Stimmung ein bißchen auf - perfektes Timing!

Beautiful place, great landscape photography with great framing and composition, nice light managment and warm colours, but most important a wonderful atmosphere, enchanced by the presence of the couple! Congratulations!

The hazy atmosphere and the golden light combine to add some wonderful touches of orange in the scene. Then we look across the sea to the familiar shapes of Cape Town. The ship on the horizon and the people on the beach are two added features of interest in the scene. Your work takes you to some great places.

Sure is a really nice feeling and good atmphsere image, very exoctic and it can take our mind away from our boring office or cold weather city life, at least for a moment, we can dream. This is really beautiful, the warm light of the colorful sunset, the peaceful and open beach, so calm and relaxing. Good composition, good light, make me dream of travelling. Thanks

Dear Linda,
I am tired too with this endless winter...well, except when we go out to take photos of the sunrise :-)
I liked reading your note because I also experienced this feeling of being in a foreign city, stocked in a room during hours and hours to work.
And when (if) there is an opportunity to go out, have a walk and take some photos you immediately forget your tiredness and stress!
This view is quite serene, the boat and the couple nicely fill it in.

Liebe Linda! Ahhhh :))) Da moechte ich jetzt auch gerne sein, Barfuss im Sand, an einem Abend genau wie diesem, vielleicht etwas joggen, ganz leicht und easy. Wunderschoene Abendstimmung, die Luft scheint leicht "salzig", ein natuerlicher Filter quasi. Deine "kleinen" Spaziergaenger sind total perfekt, sie machen das Ding aus, keine Frage. Toll ... ich moechte auch :))) Liebe Gruesse, schoener Abend, Barbara.

excellent composition with the Table Mountain in the far background, the couple in the intermediate foreground and the big ship to the right. Seems everything perfectly balanced out. I already have seen many pictures of Table Mountain, but never with such a POV. The soft light and pastel colors that you got here puts that mountain in a very nice environment.
