[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Bloubergstrand(Beach) is a very popular upmarket resort in the Western Cape. Situated on the cold Atlantic Ocean about 15 km from Cape Town. From Blouberg one has beautifull views of Table Mountain and Robben Island where Pres Nelson Mandela was incarcerated for many years.
This is the first of a number of images I took at different times of the day just to show the play of natural light. Hope you enjoy.

Is the place open to people other than resort patrons? It looks beautiful and I look forward to a future visit (but I travel budget).

This is a good picture, I think it probably would have been nicer without the two surfers in the foreground,they draw attention away from the real beauty of the area. I like being able to see the fishermen on the rock juting out in the background. Good work

Lovely view - I like the way the rocks add contrast and I think the surfers add interest to the photo. I would perhaps crop just a little of the water in the foreground though so the focus is a bit more on the mountains.

I think you can level the horizon a bit, and perhaps crop a bit at the bottom, but otherwise this is a great photo of a great place! Great colors and very sharp. I also like the people you included in the foreground. Well done!

Beautiful scenery here! I also like the surfers in this photo. Although there is a lot going on in this picture, it is a good indication that this is probably a busy beach in the morning.
